First Night Monterey established Greenfield Cultural Arts in 2014 through its outreach program ArtWorks! with assistance from the Arts Council for Monterey County. We have been busy within the community to present inclusive arts programs in various community locations, with participation in both the visual and performing arts. Classes and workshops have included: drawing and painting classes for youth, art camps, art exhibitions, dance classes in line dancing, Folklorico, Flamenco, Salsa and Azteca, as well as community festivals. Local groups also have presented traditional Oaxacan dance and drumming classes and sewing projects creating dance costumes.
